Drama has ensued tonight at the #hewillnotdivideus art installation. Shia LeBeouf, the organiser of the project appeared to clash with a Latino teenager, who according to video released by infowars reporter Paul Joseph Watson, was there to support and stand in solidarity with LeBeouf. It’s alleged LeBeouf struck the youngster and pulled on his scarf; causing him to choke and fall to the ground in pain.
The incident comes days after Shia had a showdown with another pro Trump protester screaming in his face and licking the face of another.
The webcam which was installed following the inauguration of President Donald Trump; at the Museum of Moving Image, in New York City and is the latest art project from neoliberal Shia LeBeouf. As part of the project passers by and demonstrators are encouraged to repeat the words “he will not divide us” into the camera as an ongoing act of resistance against Donald Trump’s Presidency. Online commentators have described the ongoing action as “cult like”.
The webcam intended to deliver a message of resistance against Donald Trump but has also served as a rallying point for Trump supporters. Who have assembled on a nightly basis to excersice their rights to free speech with pro-Trump messages and at one point one man unvieled a “Bill is a rapist” shirt, a reference to the many rape allegations against former President Clinton.
The campaign has attracted regular twitter coverage and millions of viewers worldwide. But it’s also attracted regular police monitering as groups from both sides of the political spectrum clash. There is no word on if the art project will remain following the arrest, but it does appear as though it is causing regular unrest in the area and it has also become a focal point for trolls from notorious internet prankster group 4chan.
Pranks so far have included a man bareing his ass, fake takeaway orders been made, an ambulance been called, several pepe memes been shown on camera and much more.
